Dear AFS Families,
We had another successful week of swimming with our Grade 1, 2 and 3 students. Students and their families speak very highly of the swimming program and we’re thrilled to be able to offer it because of your parent council. Big thanks to Mr. Murray, the volunteers and teachers for making swimming a possibility for our students.
This Wednesday, Division 2 students hosted Confluence Brass, a Calgary-based brass quintet. Students learned about brass instruments and music from long ago to present day. Thank you to the Music Performance Trust Fund and the Calgary Musicians Association for sponsoring the quintet. Next week we look forward to having a string quartet perform for us!
Have a great long week and Happy Easter to all who celebrate.
Are you Moving?
This is the time of year when we begin planning for the fall. Is your family is planning on moving to another area or out of the city? Please let us know as soon as possible by contacting the main office at 403-777-6680.

A friendly reminder that Kindergarten registration is open! We welcome any students who are 5 years old on or after January 1, 2026. Please register online or come and see us in the office J
Bicycles
If your child chooses to bring a bicycle to school it must be locked up. Unfortunately, bicycles that are not locked tend to be stolen during the day from the community.
