Book Fair
We are excited for our Scholastic Book Fair! Please note that this year, parents are invited to come in and purchase items during school hours from Monday, March 17 – Thursday, March 21 between 9:15 and 3:30. Students viewed books this week and have wish lists for parents to look at. Please read Ms. Hirji’s letter that explains the Book Fair in more detail.
Hello Families,
We are pleased to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Annie Foote School from Monday March 17 to Thursday March 20 2025. We are excited to welcome you to our Book Fair! This is a wonderful opportunity to come in and explore our latest books and resources for your child. We will have a wide selection of the newest books and resources that Scholastic has to offer for students of all grade levels. Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them on their journey to becoming lifelong readers. In turn, every purchase done at the Book Fair benefits our school. We encourage you to look over the highlights flyer that will be sent home with your child.
All Students will have an opportunity to preview items at the Book Fair on Wednesday March 12 or Thursday March 13 during the regular school hours, at their scheduled time. All Students will have an opportunity to purchase books by cash or cheque (payable to Annie Foote School) Starting on Monday March 17 to Thursday March 20 during regular school hours at their scheduled time. If the Kindergarten students would like to purchase any items or books from the Book Fair, parents and guardian are requested to send exact cash amount or a cheque (payable to Annie Foote School) and inform the teachers in detail which book or item they would like their child to purchase from the book fair.
Parents and guardians are welcome to come into the Learning Commons during the day from March 17 to March 20 of from 9.30am -12.00pm and 1.30pm -3.30pm. Parent-Teacher Conferences
Our conferences on March 20 and 21 will be held ONLINE. Yesterday you would have received an invitation from the office through Messenger to book appointments with your child’s teacher. The message contains details and information on how to book conferences. The process is the same as the November conferences but an online link is included in your confirmation email.
Grade 4 Families
This week students in Grade 4 brought home information on how to complete the Alberta Education Assurance Survey. Each letter has its own individual code to complete the survey. Thank you in advance for your important feedback.

On April 3 we will have class photos, sibling photos and M/W Kindergarten ‘graduation’ photos. T/Th Kindergarten students will have their photos taken on Thursday, April 4.
