Greetings AFS families and Happy Eid to those who celebrate!
What an amazing week we’ve had. On Monday and Tuesday, Ms. McIntyre’s Kindergarten classes visited the fire station. Fire Station Ms. Grover’s classes go to the fire station this Monday and Tuesday.
On Wednesday, our Grade 6 patrollers went to the patrol picnic at Heritage Park. Students were treated to midway rides and a boat ride. Thank you to Ms. Brewer and parent volunteers for spending the day with the Grade 6 students and thanks to Parent Council for providing the ride bracelets and bus for the day. Heritage Park
Yesterday our Grade 4 students went to the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta. Students were so engaged in learning about the changing Earth, fossils and dinosaurs. They also enjoyed a beautiful hike outside in the unique landscape. A big thank you to Ms. Jupo and Ms. Robb for organizing the trip, our parent volunteers, and Parent Council for providing a motorcoach to travel in style! Drumheller 1 Drumheller 2
Last night we met 50 of our incoming Kindergarten students and their families at the Kindergarten Orientation. We look forward to working with our new students in September.

Transportation Registration
If you live in Skyview and need to register for bussing, please register before Sunday, June 22. This is the deadline for students to be added to a route for the start of the next school year. Registrations after this date will be delayed. If you wait until September to register, it may take up to six weeks to be assigned a route.
