Dear AFS Families,

Thank you to Mr. Murray for setting up Mission Impossible in the gym.  The students have enjoyed going through the obstacle course and learning new climbing and balancing skills.   See them in action here. 

Eid Mubarak to all who celebrate.  We hope you have had an enjoyable few days to get together with your family.

Spell-a-thon

This week your child would have  brought home a pledge form and a spelling list from their teacher.  Each year our School Council sponsors the Spell-a-thon which is an easy and great way to fundraise for our school!  This week your child should be getting pledges from family and friends.

Swimming

This year our students in Grades 1 – 3 will be swimming at the Remington YMCA between May 6 and 21. Mr. Murray will be handing out letters, schedules and forms shortly.  This advance notice is because we need two volunteers from each class to be able to go with the students.  Without the correct number of adults, the class cannot go swimming.  Please let the office know if you have security clearance and are willing to go with your child’s class.

School Council

Our next school council meeting is this coming Thursday, April 18 at 6:00pm.  We hope to see you there.

Breakfast Program

I am thrilled to inform you that we are starting a Breakfast Program at Annie Foote School on April 23! Please note the date change.  This is due to delivery of supplies.  Visit our Breakfast Program page for more details.
