Thank you to our School Council for sponsoring the digital author Monique Gray Smith for our Pink Shirt Day assembly.  Our students learned what it means to be kind and to show kindness to others while reading her book “When We Are Kind”.   At our assembly, we also awarded books to one student in each classroom who showed kindness this month.  Congratulations to Mohammed A and Ellie D in Grade 1 for winning Pink Day t-shirts!
Annie Foote now has a school fish! Her name is “MOBY” as chosen by Mr. Clapperton’s class.
We had fun yesterday on February 29 wearing green and celebrating frogs for “Leap Day”.
Pop and Energy Drinks
Please DO NOT send pop or energy drinks with your children. They are not allowed at school. We know that healthy foods promote learning. Students are drinking pop as early at 9:15am and if they spill it is a sticky mess to clean up.
Lost and Found
We have a number of warm winter jackets, snow pants, boots, hats, and mitts in the lost and found. Next week we will put these items out on a table and we encourage students to pick up what is theirs. We will also display lost and found at our upcoming conferences on March 21 and 22.
Kindergarten
We understand that the Kindergarten calendars are not available on the website since the it was upgraded. We are looking into this.

It should take only 5 minutes. The survey is able to translate into 30 different languages. The survey is open until March 15. Thank you in advance. This QR code will also take you to the survey.
