Dear AFS Famiiles,

It’s hard to believe it’s already November!  We’ve had a great week with a lot of engagement and fun.  Students participated in Hallowe’en and Diwali themed learning activities.  Our Grade 6 and Kindergarten buddies enjoyed their time together. 

Thanks to you, the parents, for dressing your children in appropriate and entertaining costumes and for not sending a bunch of candy to school.  We all appreciate it!

Child and Youth Well-Being Series

Attached you will find the Child and Youth Well-Being, Family & Caregiver Fall Series resources. There are both live sessions that parents/guardians can sign up for and recorded sessions for them to access when convenient.  Well-being Series 

Remembrance Day

On Thursday, November 7, Annie Foote School will be holding our annual Remembrance Day assembly.  The Grade 5 team has been working hard to prepare a meaningful gathering for our staff and students.

Students are encouraged to bring a donation for a poppy this week. All funds collected will go to the Royal Canadian Legion’s Poppy Campaign to support veterans and their families in need.

November Break

A friendly reminder that our November break is coming soon!  There is no school for students from Friday, November 8 to Wednesday, November 13.  We will see your children again on November 14!
